Brief description of article
This chapter considers the history of creation and the internal structure of the complex of Red Data Books of different levels. The list and conservation status of all bird species registered within the boundaries of Primorsky Krai, which are listed in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation, the IUCN Red List 2008, as well as regional and national Red Lists of some countries of Eastern Asia, are given.
