Summary

The Alpine accentor is considered as a sporadically distributed breeding species in the territory of Lower Priamurye (Babenko, 2000), as well in the belt of bare rockfalls of the Ezop Range, Khingan-Bureya mountain system (Biserov, 2007, 2008). However the findings of nests of this species in this territory have not been described. A nest of an Alpine accentor with two well-feathered chicks was found during the ornithological studies in the upper reaches of the Pravaya Bureya River (N 52°06’25; E134°24’38), July 11, 2010.
